Malarhorn Guesthouse was founded in 2008 and has from the beginning been run by a family passionate about hospitality, excellent service, and sharing the natural beauty of the Strandir region with visitors from all over the world.
Located by the shoreline in Drangsnes, a small and peaceful fishing village known for its seaside hot pots, rich birdlife, and unspoiled nature, our guesthouse offers a tranquil environment with views over Grímsey island and the fresh sea air that defines life by the coast.
We provide a variety of accommodation options, including cozy rooms, spacious apartments, and facilities suitable for couples, families, and travel groups. During the summer, our restaurant Malarkaffi is open, offering fresh fish, Icelandic ingredients, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
